Cranium Tin

Cranium Tin

OK, we’re not going to mince our words here, Cranium is absolutely the best board game in the known galaxy. Imagine all your favourite games crammed into one box and you’re halfway there. You play in teams and have to guess challenges put to your team-mates. The challenges are split into four categories and are what the game is all about. You may have to do a charade, draw a picture blindfolded, hum a tune till someone guesses it, model something out of putty, impersonate a famous person, the list is endless, and you have to do these challenges either against the clock or against a member of the other team.

With over 800 cards across 30 categories it’s an all-encompassing board game that’ll have you in stitches – though not literally we hope. Be quite prepared to watch the sun come up, as you’ll just want to keep on playing this till you pass out. If you fancy an extra challenge, the booster pack contains yet another 800 cards!

Drum Kit

Drum Kit

Drum Kit

A complete seven piece ION drum kit that’s ready to rock! We couldn’t resist it – how often have you itched to thrash away at a set of drums to your heart’s content, crashing through every classic drum break in history?

Maybe it’s just us… but that would be sad. Well, if you’re onside with the old percussion heaven thing, and you want to make like Animal from the Muppets, then this excellent starter 5 piece drum kit is for you. You get the whole thing complete, a bass drum, floor tom, two top tom toms, snare drum, a high hat with foot pedal, a 41cm cymbal, and even an adjustable stool and sticks (no, the sticks aren’t adjustable).

Never let it be said (though we’ve a sneaking suspicion it has been) that a drummer is just someone who likes to hang around with musicians – and anyway, when you’ve got your headphones on, sticks in your hands and a kit laid out before you, who on earth needs musicians to have a good time? It’s quite possible that your neighbours may want to have you evicted, but boy, will you have fun in the mean time.

Bladerunner Black Ghost

Bladerunner Black Ghost

Bladerunner Black Ghost

The name Black Ghost immediately conjures up an image of elegance, a sense of foreboding and a shiver of excitement. More or less exactly the experience you’ll get from flying this remarkable helicopter. Not far off looking like an Apache helicopter (if you squint a bit) but sadly without the weaponry, this tiny little powerhouse is so astonishingly stable even an idiot can fly it.

As well as being an easy flyer it’s also pretty darn resilient along with full altitude and directional control plus a super steady forward motion. It charges up from the remote (which takes 6 AA batteries) and you should get at least 10 mins flying time before it needs another charge.

This really is the most stable and controllable little helicopter we’ve ever played with – and we’ve played with a lot (it’s important research you know). This well and truly rocks.
